Game 74 (Toronto Blue Jays vs. Cincinnati Reds)

A repeat performance? Looked like it, but the Cincinnati Reds managed to hold the big lead they had on Saturday and beat the Blue Jays 11-1. As I point out yesterday, Social Media went nuts over Game 72 and how the bullpen blew a lead. It happens and it hasn’t been that bad since a 2010 game for the Cincinnati Reds. The Reds and Blue Jays close up the season series today as the Reds hit the road for 10 games.

Game 73 (Toronto Blue Jays vs. Cincinnati Reds)

Expect the unexpected. Reds had a 8-0 lead and the first place Blue Jays weren’t going to take that hit. 7 innings of comeback and the Blue Jays end up winning 14-9. Meltdown for the Reds on Friday night, but how many do they actually have in a 162 game season? Most Reds fans took it to the Social Media and declared the season over. Bless us that they’re 90 more games to play, let’s play ball.
