Game 27 (St. Louis v Cincinnati)

Mismtach? Possibly. Has the times changed? Absolutely. In tonight’s game, we got Ace for St. Louis and Ace alternative for Cincinnati. Mr. Wainwright has not faced this Reds lineup this year, as for Mr. Latos, he has and actually performed well, despite his Center fielder costing him a win of a game with errors, but Latos was credited with one earned run and walked out with a 1.50 ERA. Here are the predictions for tonight’s tilt.

Prediction:

Adam Wainwright: 6 2/3 IP, 5 hits, double, home run, 2 runs, walk and 5 strikeouts

Mat Latos: 5 2/3 IP, 8 hits, 2 doubles, home run, 5 runs, 2 walks and 5 strikeouts

If Latos wants to shut down the Cardinals lineup, he has to deal with 6 of the 9 (Jon Jay, Matt Holliday, Allen Craig, Yadier Molina, David Freese and possibly Adam Wainwright) Cardinals hitters, who are guaranteed to hit off him tonight. Latos will be more focused on Holliday, Craig, Molina and Freese tonight for potential RISP situations.

As for the broken down Reds offense, 4 batters (Joey Votto, Brandon Phillips, Jay Bruce and Todd Frazier) will have to create some runs tonight to beat Wainwright.
