Week 17 Pitching Report

The Cincinnati Reds entered Week 17 still looking for their first win and immediately dropped more games from first place by playing the Milwaukee Brewers. The Brew Crew swept the Reds and went on a 0-6 roadtrip. Reds started 1.5 games out on July 18th and by July 23rd was at 5.5 games. Following with an off day, the Nationals came into town and kept the losing streak intact at 7 games. By the time Johnny Cueto came around the rotation and little luck against Washington pitcher Gio Gonzalez, the Reds won Saturday, ending a 7 game losing streak.  Continue reading
