Leake improved in this category in the month before throwing a terrible start against another interleague opponent in the Minnesota Twins. Among his starts, the interleague games are doing damage to him, owning a 13.50 in those games versus 3.59 among the National league. Splitting the National League ERA, he’s 1.29 against East teams and 3.21 against division.  Leake also has problems against the West with a 13.50 ERA. His ERA is ranked 73rd among qualified pitchers in baseball, Kyle Lohse of the Brewers owns the worst ERA in baseball at 6.24.

WHIP

The WHIP in May took an increased, but June featured a rollercoaster in WHIP and had a 2.88% decline. Leake is ranked 58th in this category among qualified pitchers in Baseball with Matt Garza of the Brewers owning the worst WHIP in baseball at 1.57.

June was a good month for Leake, a 41.76% increase on the season K/BB Ratio and a 392.22% increase from last month. Leake has posted 2.50, 0.90 and 4.43 in the three months of the 2015 season. Leake threw 31 strikeouts and allowed 7 walks in June, which topped April’s 25 strikeouts and 10 walks.
