As promised, it was indeed a dual and won by David Price. The Rays are now 2-8 against the Reds all time and secured their first win in Cincinnati. Both Johnny Cueto and David Price went into the 100 pitch count mark and go beyond that number. Reds and Rays managed to both hit a home run, but the Rays big scoring play occured in the 3rd inning when Matt Joyce hit a home run to right field, which gave the Rays a 2-0 lead at the time and made the difference in the game.
