Game 9 (Cincinnati Reds vs. St. Louis Cardinals)

TEAM THUMB

It looked promising for the Reds in the first two innings, but it didn’t last that long with the Cardinals comeback. Both starting pitchers for the Cardinals and Reds struggled, they both struggle against both teams, it’s nothing new. After both exit, Lance Lynn managed to get win Number 2 while Homer Bailey was denied a chance to beat St. Louis thanks to miscues. The Reds bullpen is showing how their depth is at their weakness with the amount of injuries they’ve taken. Looking at today’s game, it could be looking at another Cardinals victory, they’re 26-3-2 against Cincinnati at home since 2003, thanks to Cincinnati media.

LEAKE-MILLER

PREDICTION

MIKE LEAKE: 7.1 IP/7 H/3 R/2 BB/4 SO/HR

SHELBY MILLER: 7.2 IP/5 H/2 R/2 BB/5 SO/HR

PICK: Cardinals. Reds have hit there rough stretch and there mental problem of facing the St. Louis Cardinals. I seem to find it happening to this Reds team in the 21st century and I don’t know why. If the Prediction stands, it will indicate how good these starting pitchers are for both organizations. Yesterday’s pitching match up is turning into a norm of getting beat around.
