Skip Schumaker, Cincinnati Reds Free Agent signing #2

On November 18th, the Cincinnati Reds announced that they signed Skip Schumaker to a 2 year $5 million deal. Schumaker played for the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 2013 season, but had played with the St. Louis Cardinals for 7 seasons before being a Los Angeles Dodger.

Schumaker has come in as a bench player, is a utility man and can multiple positions. In 2013, Schumaker played second base and all outfield spots.

Skip Schumaker comes in as an interesting signing for Reds, it will depend how the rest of the Hot Stove season plays out to determine how much playing time he will get. Schumaker should be batting in the 2 hole or 6 hole.
