Game 115 (Cincinnati v San Diego)

Sorry for the long break, but when the Oakland A’s barely face the Cincinnati Reds lineup, it is hard to predict a line so I gave myself a little vacation. During the time, WordPress has notified me I’ve been blogging with them for a whole year. Overall, just want to say thanks for reading the blog and hope to do more when time is available.

On to Game 115, the Reds look to gain some ground against Pittsburgh and St. Louis and tonight, all three teams will be playing their 115th game. The Reds are 4 behind St. Louis and 7 behind St. Louis, Cincinnati will be playing St. Louis on August 26-28th and September 2nd-5th, so for the Reds to be in 2nd by the 26th.

My favorite Reds blogger, Nick Kirby, had gone into deep territory with scheduling.

As for the Reds

Now here is one thing I tweeted about first place

Sure the hopes are there, but the Reds got to win at least 5 against Pittsburgh and have some serious help with contenders.

On to the pitcher prediction stat line

Andrew Cashner: Debut against the Cincinnati Reds

Bronson Arroyo: 5 2/3 IP, 8 H, 2B, HR, 4 R, 2 BB & 3 SO

*Ryan Hanigan returns to the lineup tonight and will be catching Arroyo, usually catches Arroyo and Homer Bailey
